Why it matters

Bridge the gap between knowing and doing

Learning a concept and executing it under pressure are different skills. The Mastery Map links every lesson to its trainer so you build both.

Every lesson has a drill — this connects them

Reading about pot odds and actually pricing a call under pressure are two different things, and most sites give you one without the other. The Mastery Map pairs them: every skill links its lesson to the trainer that turns it into a reflex. Learn the idea, then practise it in one click — no hunting through a tools page for the right drill.

See your whole game at a glance

Mark each skill as you go — Learning, then Confident — and the map becomes a working picture of your game: what's solid, what's still shaky, what you haven't touched. The rating is your own call, so let the trainers back it up — if you can't score well in the drill, it isn't Confident yet. Your overall rank climbs with XP earned in those trainers, so real reps, not self-assessment, move the needle.

FAQ

Mastery map — common questions

What is the Mastery Map?

A single view of the core poker skills, each linking its lesson to the matching trainer. It's the bridge between learning a concept and drilling it, plus a self-rated tracker of how confident you are across your whole game.

How does marking a skill work?

Tap a skill's status to cycle it — Not started → Learning → Confident. It's saved on your device, and taking a skill to Confident for the first time earns XP toward your rank.

Do I need an account?

No. Everything is stored locally in your browser — your mastery ratings, your XP and rank all live on your device, no signup.

Which should I do first, learn or practice?

Start with Learn to get the concept, then Practice to make it stick — but the map is yours to work in any order. Rate yourself honestly, but treat 'Confident' as something the trainer proves, not just how you feel: if the drill score isn't there yet, keep it at Learning.
